sh-Nonapeptide-2 is a single chain human peptide produced synthetically to be identical to a portion of the protein, Laminin Subunit Beta-1 and contains 9 amino acids consisting of aspartic acid, cysteine, glycine, isoleucine, proline, serine and tyrosine. Laminin Subunit Beta-1 contains a maximum of 786 amino acids consisting of the proper sequence of the 20 amino acids.
